Rivo+ is the enhanced version of Rivo, engineered from what listeners asked for. A dedicated ASIC now generates the coaxial and AES/EBU signals, and improved MEMS clocks lower jitter.
A dedicated ASIC
An ASIC is a chip built for one task. Here it generates the coaxial and AES/EBU output signals. This takes the job off the main processor, so its interference and jitter stay out of these outputs.
A MEMS clock and quiet power
A high-quality MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) clock drives the ASIC and gives it a very stable, low-jitter timing reference. Low-noise voltage regulators power it.
Reclocked USB
Upgraded MEMS clocks in the USB hub chip improve reclocking and signal integrity, above all on the USB DAC output. They keep jitter low and the frequency stable, with less drift from temperature changes and aging.

Four ways to your DAC
Rivo+ is a digital transport. It sends the signal to your DAC through USB, I2S over HDMI, AES/EBU or coaxial. A 12 V trigger powers your other components on and off.
USB
1536kHz
Up to PCM 1536 kHz / 32-bit and DSD1024, with multiroom off. The USB-A 2.0 output has power filtering, and upgraded MEMS clocks in the USB hub chip improve its reclocking.
I2S over HDMI
768kHz
Up to PCM 768 kHz / 32-bit and DSD512, or DSD256 with multiroom on. For compatible DACs. The pinout routing of the HDMI connector is adjustable.
AES/EBU and coaxial
192kHz
Up to PCM 192 kHz / 24-bit and DSD64 via DoP, on both. The dedicated ASIC generates both signals, with its own MEMS clock and a low-noise power supply.
Trigger
12V
A trigger output on a 3.5 mm jack, positive on tip. It powers your other components on and off.

Rivo+ has every Premium feature built in. Stream TIDAL, Qobuz and Spotify, with TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect and AirPlay. Play music from local or network drives, or listen to internet radio.
