What it does
Lineo5 takes the place of the external switching power supply that runs your streamer or DAC. Its linear design gives your system clean, stable 5 V power.

A switching supply and a linear supply, as the Lineo5 Duo shop page illustrates them.
A linear power supply holds a large reservoir of clean, stable power and keeps electrical noise low. Power delivery stays consistent, so you hear more of the detail and the transients in your music.
Linear regulation and filtering reduce ripple and interference. In Lineo5 Duo, each output has its own regulators and filtering, and the residual noise is 20 µV.

A toroidal transformer sits at the heart of both models. In Lineo5 Duo it delivers the power each output needs with a wide margin, so it never comes close to its limits, even in the most demanding listening sessions.

Lineo5 uses premium transformers, capacitors and voltage regulators, for reliable performance and durability. Lineo5 Duo uses audio-grade, low-ESR capacitors with 40,000 µF of bulk capacitance, a large reservoir of power for the moments your system needs it most.

A simple, honest design. The chassis is aluminum, a robust and non-magnetic material, and the heatsinks along its sides cool the electronics passively.
A switch on the back sets the mains input: 110–120 V at 60 Hz, or 220–240 V at 50 Hz.
A fuse protects both models, and it is easy to reach.
Stable, clean power for high-end DACs, headphone amplifiers and network streamers that run on 5 V.

Other 5 V gear
The shop pages name no other devices. Both describe the models as made for 5 V audio gear in general. Each output gives 5 V DC, tip positive, on a 5.5 × 2.1 mm barrel jack, with up to 5 A on Lineo5 and up to 4 A per output on Lineo5 Duo. Compare that with your device’s power input.

Lineo5 Duo with Rivo+ and Preciso. Its two independent outputs can power two devices like these at the same time.

Both are linear 5 V supplies with a toroidal transformer, in the same 27 × 22.7 × 7.7 cm aluminum chassis, with the same compatibility list. Lineo5 has one output with up to 5 A. Lineo5 Duo has two independent outputs with up to 4 A each, so one supply can power two devices.
